Screenshot Mode Competition
Greetings Wardens!
Welcome to the Solar Warden Screenshot Competition!
This is your chance to win 5 Steam Keys of the full release of Solar Warden when the full title is released!
We want you to gather up and post your best screenshots OR animated gifs over on http://imgur.com where privacy settings are set to PUBLIC with the tags “gaming” and “solar warden”. Then post your Imgur links to the #screenshots channel in our Discord: http://discord.gg/MaGzwt4
The DEADLINE for these posts will be Friday at 12pm Pacific Time where the Devs will pick their 5 favorite gifs and 10 favorite screenshots.
From those 5 and 10, we will then have the community vote which of these are the BEST over the period of 24 hours to be posted on Solar Warden’s social media for Screenshot Saturday!
**The top 2 gifs will each receive a Release Steam Key (when available)**
**The top 3 screenshots will also each receive a Release Steam Key (when available)**
RULES
1) Screenshots must be in at least 16:9 ratio (1920×1080 is best, but we also wouldn’t mind 4k screenshots)
2) Animated GIFs must be <15 MB!
3) All posts MUST be on Imgur and privacy settings set to PUBLIC with the tags “gaming” and “solar warden” and posted to the community
4) All posts MUST be linked from Imgur to #screenshots in the Discord:http://discord.gg/MaGzwt4
5) If you plan to submit plenty of Screenshots / GIFs, we ask you place them in Albums on Imgur to not spam this chat. We will look at all of the screenshots in the album
6) Previously posted screenshots in this chat CAN be REPOSTED and will be considered
7) Videos will NOT be considered for this Screenshot competition. We will look at doing it for a future competition. Consider putting those videos into GIFs
8) All posts to Imgur must have a title and the description should include “from the Solar Warden Demo”
8) DEADLINE for all submissions is Friday at 12pm Pacific Time
TOOLs
– Screenshot mode is available in the Pause menu of the game
— From Screenshot mode, you can press [Spacebar] to unlock yourself from orbiting a ship and get that perfect shot!
– For GIFs
— We recommend https://ezgif.com/maker where you can transform your videos into animated GIFs
— using the “Optimization” feature on the site will also help reduce the size of the GIF
